AEBIOM - The European Biomass Association
The European Biomass Association is a non profit Brussels based international organisation founded in 1990 whose mission is to promote the sustainable development of the Bioenergy sector at EU level. AEBIOM brings together 31 national associations and more than 70 companies from all over Europe thus representing more than 4000 indirect members including companies, research centers and individuals.

EBA - European Biogas Association
Founded in February 2009, European Biogas Association is the youngest of all European associations in the field of renewable energies. EBA was founded as a Belgian non-profit organisation aiming to promote sustainable biogas production and use in Europe. EBA’s membership comprises currently 22 national biogas associations, institutes and companies from 18 countries all across Europe including several new member states and covering all different parts of Europe. EBA is member of the European Renewable Energy Federation (EREF) and the European Biowaste Alliance.

EUBIA - European Biomass Industry Association
EUBIA, the European Biomass Industry Association, was established in 1996 as an international non profit association in Brussels, Belgium. It groups together market forces, technology providers, and knowledge centres, all of them active in the field of biomass. The main objective of EUBIA is to support the European biomass industries at all levels, promoting the use of biomass as an energy source, developing innovative bioenergy concepts and fostering international co-operation within the bioenergy field.

EUREC - European Renewable Energy Research Centres Agency
The European Renewable Energy Research Centres Agency was established as a European Economic Interest Grouping in 1991 to strengthen and rationalise the European research, demonstration and development efforts in all renewable energy technologies. As an independent member-based association, it incorporates 43 prominent research groups from all over Europe. EUREC members' research fields include all renewable energy technologies (wind, biomass, small hydro, marine, geothermal, photovoltaics, solar thermal power and solar buildings).

EuPRN - European Pellet Researcher Network
The aim of European Pellet Researcher Network is to improve dissemination of information about present R&D. Researchers will be able to spread their findings and also have the opportunity to get in contact with new research partners. The network addresses European researchers within the field of biomass fuel pellets.

EUFORES - European cross-party network
EUFORES is a European cross-party network of Members of Parliaments from the European Parliament as well as from the EU27 national and regional Parliaments. EUFORES core objective is the promotion of renewable energy and energy efficiency. EUFORES is supported by a variety of non-parliamentary members from the renewable energy industry, scientific institutes, energy agencies and NGOs - all strongly committed to renewable energy and energy efficiency. EUFORES has developed a broad spectrum of activities in order to coordinate the exchange between its members.

The European Biofuels Technology Platform actively engages with biofuels stakeholders (researchers, academia, civil societies, industry), EC-funded research projects and initiatives, related European TPs and global biofuels organsiations in a wide range of activites relevant to the R&D&D of sustainable advanced biofuels in Europe.

The Bioenergy Network of Excellence (NoE) is a European group of eight leading bioenergy institutes. We are integrating our RD&D activities to create a Virtual Bioenergy R&D Centre that will contribute to a competitive bioenergy market in Europe.

EFI - The European Forest Institute
EFI is an international organisation established by European States. It is the leading institution conducting and advocating forest research and facilitating forest research networking at the pan-European level. It is an acknowledged provider of and a major contact point for unbiased, policy-relevant information on European forests and forestry. The EFI has an extensive network made up of approximately 130 Associate and Affiliate Members; it offers the best forest research contacts and acknowledged collaboration at the European level.
